We are the Creators of this World
Today, I discuss one principle of the Luminary discussion: We are Creators of a New World.
In this truth I find it assumed that we must also be the creators of this world, otherwise who else created it? if we say it was solely those who went before, that would be shirking blame and responsibility, and if we say it was those who will come after us . . . well I won't even address that notion. So if it's not those before us that created this world, and its not those after us, then only one remains: us. We created this world. We create it everyday, while we sleep and while wake. When we make good decisions and when we make bad decisions. When we shout at our roommates to wash their dishes and when we make them breakfast burritos instead to nourish their bones and even wash their dishes too. We make this world. And so we can make the future world also, but we can only do so at one point in time: NOW. For neither the future nor the past truly exist, your only time for action is now. Accept responsibility, accept what is, and act upon it, Now.
Consider something I wrote.
You speak against the government?
You are the government.
Don't you see?
You harass Congress for their debt.
They suffer debt because you suffer debt.
Don't you hear?
You criticize your leaders adultery?
They adulter because you adulter.
Don't you know?
You disparage the media for their garbage?
They give you garbage because you give yourself garbage.
Don't you taste?
The government is for the people, by the people, of the people. The government is the people. The people is you. You are the government.
Don't you understand?
When we criticize we simply smear a disguise across our faces, and send a red herring down a road to false places.
You say the kids down the street are up to no Good, you say people don't act like they should; the world's in chaos, its falling apart, morals, disappearing, good and bad nearing, good men snearing behind closed doors, with cloaks and daggers, and double edged swords; WMDs in the North, mobs in the East, white collars in the West, madness in the South.
Slips only whispers from heavens mouth. Grows quiet goodness' rest. Sharpens, the Devil's teeth. Flickers, Liberty's torch.
Cease.
Stop.
Breathe.
Breathe
Stop
Cease
Slip inwards.
Move deeper
let your body go.
let your spirit flow.
move deeper,
slip upwards,
Fly upwards,
breathe out.
breathe in.
Breathe in.
breathe out.
Soar upwards.
Leave the old world.
Further up;
Remove your shoes,
Slide into your new groove;
further in.
Welcome to the New World.
